QUEENSLAND BEE BIOSECURITY ROUNDTABLE
MosaicLab facilitated a two-day statewide forum to help Queensland transition to long-term varroa mite management, supporting a $2.4B pollination-dependent agriculture industry.
The roundtables brought together commercial and recreational beekeepers, policy makers, suppliers and researchers to collaboratively design mitigation strategies and governance recommendations.
A carefully designed hybrid format enabled broad participation and captured actionable insights to inform the Department of Primary Industries long-term biosecurity strategy and investment.
SUNSHINE COAST OLYMPICS INFRASTRUCTURE ROUND TABLE
MosaicLab designed and facilitated a high-stakes roundtable for Sunshine Coast Council, bringing together local, state and federal government leaders to align on infrastructure priorities ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The session was strategically timed to reset regional collaboration following Queensland’s 100-day infrastructure review.
Participants developed draft MOU principles to guide future joint decision-making and investment across the region.
The process was fast, focused, and politically sensitive - balancing diverse agendas to shape a shared vision for long-term impact.

FUTURE WYNDHAM COMMUNITY PANEL
The Future Wyndham Community Panel - comprising 150 randomly selected Wyndham residents - played a central role in updating the Wyndham 2050 Community Vision.
Panel members explored important issues in depth, reviewed ideas and feedback collected during the project's first stage, and heard from council staff and members of the original 2021 Panel who developed the initial Vision.
Through this collaborative process, the panel developed an updated Wyndham 2050 Community Vision and set clear priorities to help guide council’s future planning and decisions.

Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation
MosaicLab partnered with Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation to deliver a bespoke Code of Conduct training in Derby, a remote town in Western Australia's Kimberley region.
The training was designed to go beyond policy, embedding cultural values and workplace integrity into everyday practice. Through a focus on ethical conduct, respect, collaboration, and accountability, the sessions ensured the Code becomes a living guide rather than just a set of rules.
By honouring community values and strengthening workplace culture, this initiative supports a more engaged and responsible workforce.
CONNECTED LIBRARIES
Connected Libraries provides essential library services to the City of Casey community in Melbourne’s southeastern growth corridor, fostering connections between people and information in an increasingly digital world. They serve a diverse population, including a significant number of children, young people, and culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
MosaicLab partnered with Connected Libraries to co-design and facilitate a series of conversations with their team, including staff, leadership and board members. The insights from these discussions shaped their new Library Plan 2025–2029, which aims to equip Connected Libraries for community growth and increasing service demand in the future.
Wetland Warriors Floodplain Specialist Fish Science Forum
The ‘Wetland Warriors’ conference, hosted by the North Central Catchment Management Authority (NCCMA), brought together key stakeholders from across Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales to strategise for the conservation of six critically endangered native fish species along the Murray Corridor.
MosaicLab facilitated a two-day event which supported learning, connection and collaboration and was attended by researchers, waterways managers, and community group representatives. The process enabled the sharing of diverse perspectives and drawing on these to develop actionable plans.
Outcomes included a decision on the three best sites to begin breeding critically endangered fish and solutions for six key areas to improve reach, impact, funding, research and capabilities.
Water Future Community Advisory Panel
Every four years, TasWater prepares a detailed plan that outlines the services they will deliver and the prices customers will pay. As part of this, TasWater is undertaking their first statewide deliberative engagement process to seek the views and preferences of customers and community, to ensure their views are reflected in the plan.
This extensive project began with a codesign process 12 months ago and has now progressed to the panel recruitment phase.
Over 3 months, the 45-member panel will learn about the challenges TasWater is facing, consider a range of issues relating to pricing and services, and consider options for the future. TasWater will use the panel’s recommendations to ensure that their customers and community are at the heart of shaping the next Price and Service Plan. The Plan will be submitted to the Tasmanian Economic Regulator to set water and sewerage prices in Tasmania from 2026.

SHAPE VICTORIA PEOPLE'S PANEL
The Victorian Government is defining the focus of long-term development in Victoria through its 2050 Vision. From February to August this year, significant wider engagement was undertaken by the department to gather insights from Victorian community members, focusing on four main pillars: housing affordability and choice, equity and jobs, liveable and thriving neighbourhoods, and sustainable environments and climate action.
Recognising that everyone has a role in shaping Victoria's future, a people's panel will be formed to represent the state's diverse communities and develop a vision. The panel of 50 randomly selected Victorians will meet five times in September.
The vision for Victoria, will further inform the four main pillars that will support the Plan Victoria.

CITY OF GREATER DANDENONG OUR CITY, Our future community panel
Following a broad community engagement phase - including targeted workshops aimed at often unheard groups, training of community ‘champions’ from culturally diverse backgrounds (who will co-facilitate the wider engagement workshops alongside MosaicLab and the council), and staff capacity building, the City of Greater Dandenong will establish the ‘Our City, Our Future’ Community Panel.
This 40-member panel will meet from October to November to review and discuss the outcomes of the community engagement activities.
The insights gathered through these engagements will directly influence the creation of the Council’s Community Vision and Council Plan for 2025-2029, ensuring that these documents reflect the community’s true priorities.
With these challenges in mind - How can we make our city a home to all?
JEMENA Electricity NETWORK customer engagement
Jemena Electricity Network transports electricity to over 350,000 homes and businesses across north and western Melbourne. As part of their Regulatory Proposal for 2026-2031, MosaicLab have co-designed and facilitating a number of customer and stakeholder engagement sessions.
